Engineering and construction company Kentz Corp. has been awarded electrical and instrumentation installation works for the Reficar Refinery Expansion Project in Cartagena, Colombia.
Engineering and construction company Kentz Corp. has been awarded electrical and instrumentation installation works for the Reficar Refinery Expansion Project in Cartagena, Colombia.
The project is valued as around $58m and is expected to require man power of 750 at its peak.
The work will be carried out in the process units on the new 165,000 barrels per day (bpd) project over a period of 15 months.
Christian Brown, Chief Executive Officer of Kentz said: "This is an excellent example of how we can leverage our capabilities and relationships to further expand our business. This contract is our first in Colombia and it demonstrates our ability to expand into new countries and regions.
"It also highlights the strength of our relationships with key clients. We are delighted to continue our association with CB&I who we have successfully worked with in other parts of the world."
The share price rose 0.93% to 392.70p by 08:20.
