The deal will offer blinkx users with sports content on teams throughout the US, including playback of games.

XOS Digital, which manages the rights for more than 100 collegiate sports properties, will provide blinkx users with coverage including the 2013 basketball tournament season.

"Sports videos are always in extremely high demand on blinkx, and the college basketball finals might be the most exciting and engaging season of the year," said blinkx's Chief Executive Officer, S. Brian Mukherjee.
