New year off to subdued start at LSE
Bourses operator London Stock Exchange said total income in its fiscal third quarter was up 17% year-on-year but added that the fourth quarter has started with subdued secondary market trading, with average daily value traded in UK cash equities down 3% on the preceding quarter, although volume traded in Italian cash equities is up 4% quarter-on-quarter.
