Total Produce disposes of Capespan shareholding for 22m euros

Fresh fruit, vegetables and flowers producer Total Produce has completed the sale of its 25.3 per cent shareholding in Capespan Group to investment company Zeder Financial Services for a cash consideration of 22m euros.

Fresh fruit, vegetables and flowers producer Total Produce has completed the sale of its 25.3 per cent shareholding in Capespan Group to investment company Zeder Financial Services for a cash consideration of 22m euros.

The group said that the sale would give rise to a profit on disposal for Total Produce of an estimated €0.4m, and the cash proceeds would be used in the continued expansion of the group.

Capespan markets fresh fruit across the globe and provides supply service solutions to international fruit trading partners.

Total Produce's share price was up 0.85% to 59p at 09:48 on Wednesday.
