MediaZest shares jump on 'major' contract win

Shares in MediaZest rocketed on Tuesday following an announcement by the company that it had won a 'major' contract.

Shares in MediaZest rocketed on Tuesday following an announcement by the company that it had won a 'major' contract.

The deal is expected to earn the company more than £1.0m over the next 18 months.

The group, which describes itself as a 'creative digital out-of-home advertising company and audio-visual integrator', said further details will be provided in the upcoming trading update.

Lance O'Neill, MediaZest's Non-Executive Chairman, said: "This is a significant contract for the company, with a major international brand.

"It gives the group a tremendous platform to build upon in this new financial year and we look forward to updating shareholders more fully on this and the group's general performance in due course."

The share price jumped 219% to 0.34p by 10:10 Tuesday.
