Perform and NBA launch new website in Germany

Digital sports content platform group Perform on Thursday announced the launch of of the NBA.de, the new official fan website in Germany, in conjunction with the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Digital sports content platform group Perform on Thursday announced the launch of of the NBA.de, the new official fan website in Germany, in conjunction with the National Basketball Association (NBA).

The website will appear in a dedicated section within the Perform-owned Spox.com, and will stream one live game free each week as part of a range of multimedia content including videos and highlights and real-time statistics.

Oliver Slipper, Joint Chief Executive Officer of Perform, said of the partnership: "This agreement with the NBA underlines Perform's credentials as a key partner to major sports federations looking to bring their sports to new, digital audiences. We are delighted to form this multiyear relationship with the NBA in a key European territory for them."

Manuel Lopez, Managing Director, Perform Germany added: "The NBA is one of the most exciting sports competitions in the world and a truly global sports brand. We are delighted to be working with the NBA to grow its audience base in Germany and Europe and look forward to providing German basketball fans with greater access to live games and digital content."

Perform's share price fell 0.1% to 382.10p by 14:35.
