Max Petroleum commences drilling in Kazakhstan prospect
AIM-listed oil and gas exploration company Max Petroleum has commenced drilling the ESKN-1 exploration well on the Eskene North prospect on a new location on Block E. The company is using the Zhanros Drilling's ZJ-20 rig.
AIM-listed oil and gas exploration company Max Petroleum has commenced drilling the ESKN-1 exploration well on the Eskene North prospect on a new location on Block E. The company is using the Zhanros Drilling's ZJ-20 rig.
The total vertical depth of the well will be approximately 1,400 metres. The Eskene North prospect is a four-way anticline targeting unrisked mean resources of 9 million barrels of oil in Triassic reservoirs.
