Oil and gas producer Genel Energy confirmed that it is in negotiations with Longford Energy over the possible acquisition of an additonal 40% stake in the Chia Surkh oilfield in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.
The announcement moved the share price 0.32% lower to 790.5p by 15:51.
