"Little noticed in the West, China has entered a bear market," says Jeremy Warner in the Daily Telegraph. Stocks have slid by more than 20% this year. Now, they are languishing "amid a sea of worries". The US Federal Reserve's higher interest rates are drawing money away from risky assets such as emerging markets. The trade war with the US, and a slowing Chinese economy with its growing mountain of debt, are further major worries. "Is the Chinese development story finally beginning to stumble?"
