Barratt finance chief buys shares
A round-up of the biggest director deals today so far.
Barratt Developments finance director David Thomas is continuing to add to his stake in the company less than one year after being appointed to the board.
Thomas has invested nearly £26,000 on acquiring 25,000 shares at 103.3p a share.
Thomas joined the board as finance director on 21 July 2009. He bought his first 20,000 shares in September after the interim figures and plans to raise £720.5m were published.

He took up his rights issue shares and has been a regular buyer of shares since then. The previous purchase of 20,000 shares was at 123.8p a share on 12 May. The latest purchase was at the lowest price since the rights issue.
Thomas has spent a total of £211,000 on Barratt shares in less than 12 months.
Barratt has said that it expects to report an underlying profit in the second half of its current financial year after a pick-up in both prices and forward reservations.
