Mondi says profit ahead of first quarter but below last year
Mondi, the paper and packaging company, has confirmed that its underlying operating profit for the second quarter of 2012 is expected to be higher than that of the first quarter, but below that the 175m euros achieved in the comparable prior year period.
Mondi, the paper and packaging company, has confirmed that its underlying operating profit for the second quarter of 2012 is expected to be higher than that of the first quarter, but below that the 175m euros achieved in the comparable prior year period.
As as result, underlying operating profit for the first half is also expected to be lower than that of same period last year.
Basic underlying earnings per share will be between 28 and 33 cents (2011: 38.2c), while basic earnings per share from combined operations will be between 29 and 34 cents (2011: 41.6c).
