GeoPark production rises in second quarter
The Latin America-focused oil and gas company, GeoPark, has reported increased production from its sites in Chile, Colombia and Argentina.
The Latin America-focused oil and gas company, GeoPark, has reported increased production from its sites in Chile, Colombia and Argentina.
The company extracted 11,625 barrels of oil equivalent per day in the second quarter, a 66% increase on the same period of 2011.
GeoPark also made four discoveries between April and June, two in Colombia and two in Chile.

The Chief Executive, James Park, said he was pleased by progress in Colombia, and said the firm entered the second half of the year "with confidence".
At 09:57 the stock was unchanged from Friday's close.
