Hiscox sees Syndicate 33 retaining capacity
Hiscox, the specialist insurance group, says it expects capacity in its Syndicate 33 to remain broadly unchanged in 2013.
Hiscox, the specialist insurance group, says it expects capacity in its Syndicate 33 to remain broadly unchanged in 2013.
The company expects the syndicate, in which it holds a 73% share, to underwrite up to £950m.
Another syndicate, number 6104, which Hiscox manages solely on behalf of third parties, will target a capacity of £50m.

Hiscox is obliged to publish the data because of the participation of third party capital in both syndicates.
Over the last 12 months Hiscox shares have risen 3.7%.
