Avia Health Informatics arm wins NICE accreditation
Avia Health Informatics' wholly-owned subsidiary, Plain Healthcare, was awarded National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) accreditation for its Odyssey clinical decision support system, the company said Monday.

The NICE Accreditation Advisory Committee commended the group for methods used for searching and identifying evidence on the Odyssey clinical database.
This database is used to guide the assessment and interpretation of symptoms during primary care consultations with patients.
The Odyssey suite of products was designed specifically to address the needs of the UK's National Health Service.

"This is testament to the safety and effectiveness of Odyssey clinical content and the hard work and commitment of our clinical team. NICE accreditation provides validation that will be welcomed by patients, clinicians and managers of services that use Odyssey decision support."
Shares were up 3.33% to 7.75p at 13:52 Monday.
