Chancellor Rachel Reeves announced a package of tax rises worth around £26 billion in the Autumn Budget on Wednesday, 26 November.
The biggest revenue-raiser will be an extended freeze on income tax thresholds until 2031, bringing in around £8 billion.
A crackdown on salary sacrifice for pension contributions, a hike on tax from property, savings, and dividend income, and a new ‘mansion tax’ are among the other levies announced.
