Santander will cut its network to just 305 branches following the closures

Santander has announced it is closing 44 more bank branches, just a year after setting out plans to shut 95.

The major Spanish bank will reduce its network from 349 to 305 between April 2026 and January 2027. Santander had 444 UK branches in March 2025.
