Eligibility for NatWest Premier
To be eligible for NatWest Premier, customers must be 18+ and UK-resident.
They must either have: an annual income of at least £100,000 (£120,000 for joint accounts) added to their NatWest account; at least £100,000 in savings/investments with NatWest; or hold a mortgage with NatWest worth at least £500,000.
Premier Select: First for simplicity
Premier Select is the first tier of the Premier offering. It’s simple because Premier Select offers the essentials of everyday banking, namely exclusive 24/7 support - and no fees, not only for the account itself, but also no fees for foreign transactions (exc. ATMs and local fees may still apply).
Premier Select is ideal for those who want streamlined banking with a trusted partner and a dedicated service with global reach.
Premier Reward: Everyday banking, rewarded
Premier Reward is designed for clients who want their banking to give back. It ensures that customer loyalty and financial choices are recognised. It has a £2 monthly fee and requires a deposit of at least £1,250 a month with NatWest.
With Premier Reward you could earn:
- £9 a month in Rewards for paying two direct debits of at least £4.50
- £1 a month in Rewards for logging into the NatWest mobile app
- Customers could also receive at least 1% back in Rewards for spending via NatWest’s partners.
Rewards can be banked as cash, traded for e-gift codes or points, or donated to charity.
Premier Reward Black
The Premier options do not end there. Premier Reward Black is an upgraded option for customers who have already opened either a Premier Select or Premier Reward account and wish to gain more value.
Premier Reward Black offers multiple travel, protection and entertainment benefits for a £36 monthly fee. These include:
- Worldwide family travel insurance, airport lounge access and European and UK breakdown cover
- Mobile phone insurance for you and your family, and 24/7 home emergency cover
- Cinema discounts, cashback on tickets for concerts shows and sporting events - and a concierge service available every day, all year round.
And, as with Premier Reward, there are Rewards of up to £10 in value each month for direct debits and mobile app log-in, as well as Rewards for spending with NatWest's partners.

Switching to NatWest Premier
You could get up to £1,000 if you decide to switch to NatWest Premier and save £100K+.
For £250 switching incentive, use the Current Account Switch Service to close your current account held elsewhere and switch to NatWest Premier Select or NatWest Premier Reward. Pay in at least £5,000 and log in to the mobile app within 60 days.
And for additional £750 interest payment, you will also need to open a Flexible Saver account within 60 days of switching and pay in £100K or more into your Flexible Saver.
