The Aprilia SRV850 is the world's fastest scooter, with a top speed of 120mph. This means it has "plenty in reserve even at motorway speeds, making it a realistic prospect for long-distance riding", says Kevin Ash in The Daily Telegraph. It's comfortable too, and good value, though lacks the handling precision of some rivals. Price: £7,799.
