Royal Dutch shell boss buys
A round-up of the biggest director deals today so far.
Royal Dutch Shell boss Peter Voser has taken advantage of the oil giant's recent weak share price to add to his shareholding.
He bought 20,000 A shares at 1838.83p a share - a total cost of nearly £368,000. In the 2009 accounts Voser had an interest in 90,694 shares. This appears to be the first time he has dealt since then so his increased stake is 110,694 shares.
Voser is a Swiss national and he became finance director of Royal Dutch Shell in October 2004. He moved to chief executive in July 2009.

In the first quarter of 2010, Shell's earnings jumped to $4.9bn on a current cost of supplies (CCS) basis, from $3.3bn over the same period the previous year. This was well ahead of expectations of about $4.2bn. The company announced a first quarter dividend of $0.42, as expected.
Shell's Canadian subsidiary says that it has been unable to find a buyer for its Montreal East Refinery and it will instead turn it into a terminal.
