Avanti bosses take more shares
A round-up of the biggest director deals today so far.
The chairman and chief executive of the broadband satellite operator Avanti Communications have been upping their stakes in the company, spending a combined total of about £150,000 on shares.
Chairman John Brackenbury took 8,998 shares at 549.75p a go and chief executive David Williams took 17,997 at the same price.
Williams now some 1.5m shares, about 1.77% of the company, and Brackenbury has just less than 322,000.

Last week, Avanti said that developments last year will start to feed through to financial results this year. One satellite, HYLAS 1, has been sent into orbit, HYLAS 2 is being built and the financing of HYLAS 3 is being arranged.
"The proliferation of new internet applications, particularly those which are video intensive, and new devices enabling consumers to connect to the internet are the drivers of our market," Brackenbury said.
"In developed markets, data demand is rising strongly and in emerging markets, vast new populations are coming to digital media for the first time."
