Salamander chief executive buys into weakness
A round-up of the biggest director deals today so far.
Salamander Energy founder and chief executive James Menzies has spent £41,000 on shares in the south-east Asia-focused oil and gas group.
He bought 20,000 shares at 205p a pop.
Menzies may have been tempted by the fall in Salamander's share price since he last opened his wallet, buying the same number of shares at 269.5p a time. The share price fall is in line with declines across the oil sector amid a worsening global economic outlook.
