The company's share price has performed well over the past year, gaining over 17%, or 139p.
Just over a month ago the Hunting revealed that it sold its Canadian airport business for £7.5m.
Hunting Canadian Airport Holdings, which includes Field Aviation, was bought by a consortium of North American investors put together by the current management team.
Hunting agreed to defer £1.9m of the deal, which it will receive by the end of 2018 and on which it will earn interest at a rate of 8% a year in the meantime, the firm said.
On the day of Proctor's sale, the share price fell 0.58% to 945.50p.
