LSE boss buys double round of shares
A round-up of the biggest director deals today so far.
- Correction: On Wednesday it was incorrectly reported that Wood Group's Chairman had sold shares; it was in fact the Group Chairman who made the sale.
Xavier Rolet, the chief executive officer of the London Stock Exchange Group, has had a busy few days, buying two rounds of shares in the same week the company revealed it is losing its chief financial officer.
Rolet, who last week ditched £0.9m-worth of shares which he earned through the firm's long-term incentive plan, this week bought up 16,600 shares.

The first transaction, in which Rolet bought 12,500 shares at 973p a pop, was made on Tuesday, the same day CFO Doug Webb's departure was announced. The second purchase, which occurred the following day, saw the CEO hand over 968p for each of the 4,100 shares, taking his total holding to 133,730 shares.
Webb joined the firm in 2008, but will step down from the board on July 2, and leave the firm on July 31, as part of a wider management shake up.
He'll be replaced by David Warren, a recruit from US stock exchange NASDAQ where he has been for 11 years, two of which were spent as a senior adviser.
