Vodafone's Kiwi acquisition finally lands
Mobile phone networks giant Vodafone said its acquisition of TelstraClear, the New Zealand business of Australian telecoms group Telstra, has now gone through.
Mobile phone networks giant Vodafone said its acquisition of TelstraClear, the New Zealand business of Australian telecoms group Telstra, has now gone through.
The NZ$840m (£429m) acquisition was announced on July 12th, and has now overcome all regulatory hurdles.
TelstraClear is the second largest fixed operator in New Zealand with extensive fixed network assets and capabilities. Its customer base includes government and large corporations, small and medium enterprises as well as consumers.
