ITV acquires firm behind '24 Hours in A&E'
Television producer ITV has acquired The Garden, an independent production company.
Television producer ITV has acquired The Garden, an independent production company.
The Garden, which has produced programmes such as 24 Hours in A&E, and Inside Claridge's, will be acquired for an initial £18m, with a further capped cash payment based on its future performance, which is only payable of 'significant' profit growth over the next five years.
In 2012 The Garden delivered an operating profit of £2.5m.
