Ferrexpo increases pellet production
The Switzerland-based, but Ukrainian-owned, iron ore producer Ferrexpo increased total pellet production by 3.3% in the fourth quarter of 2011 compared to the previous three month period.
The Switzerland-based, but Ukrainian-owned, iron ore producer Ferrexpo increased total pellet production by 3.3% in the fourth quarter of 2011 compared to the previous three month period.
Pellet production from its own ore during the whole of 2011 was in line with 2010, with both years at full capacity.
Production of higher grade 65% iron pellets, from its own ore, increased 4.8% in 2011 compared to 2010.

However total pellet production from purchased raw materials fell 25.1% year on year.
The share price rose 1.31% to 302.1p by 09:06.
