Online search marketing services provider dotDigital signed up 465 new customers to the company's email marketing services in the first three months of 2012.

"Our business development activity with channel partners in the UK and USA is now starting to deliver firm orders for dotMailer," claimed Pete Simmonds, Chief Executive Officer of dotDigital.
The company also flagged the launch of dotSurvey, the company's new online survey tool. During the beta trial of dotSurvey over 1,000 existing dotMailer clients signed up to test this new product and following positive feedback, the product has now gone live, the company said.

"Feedback from the beta trial period is very positive and we now have a clear road map to continue to enhance functionality, as well as delivering versions of the product in multiple languages," Simmonds said.
The shares rose 0.375p to 9.625p following the trading update.
