2014 La Source du Chteau de Sours Ros, Bordeaux, France (£90 per dozen bottles in bond, or £11.46 per bottle incl. VAT, Private Cellar, 01353-977997).
I am very fortunate to know the wines of Chteau de Sours inside out. Owner Martin Krajewski is a pal and he is also a perfectionist. Since he bought this beautiful Chteau and its famous ros brand he has taken the wines from being well made and eye-catching to world class and mesmerising. I am a huge fan of his estate ros I have written the 2014 up in my column in the Daily Mail's Weekend magazine already this year. I also adore the large formats Martin knows how to party!
But above Chteau de Sours Ros there is another, elite cuve which came of age in the 2014 vintage. It will be shipped from France especially for those of you who want to secure some of the very rare stock. Made from 70% merlot and 30% cabernet franc, it is categorically the finest wine ever made at this estate. The perfume and silky texture are not marked by oak as in previous vintages.

This wine has been refined and made impossibly beautiful. I gave it 18/20 in my notes and it's worth noting that it is a tenth of the price of Garrus (the dreamy Provenal ros which appeared on this page a few weeks ago). This is your chance to own a pivotal wine.
