Law Debenture's Smith opens account
A round-up of the biggest director buys today so far.
Law Debenture Corp is at its highest in over six months on a good day for the markets and as non executive director Christopher Smith bought his first shares in the provider of services such as corporate and pension trusts.
Smith, managing director - corporate finance at JP Morgan Cazenove until his retirement at the end of 2008, paid almost £61,000, or 243.6p each, for 25,000 shares in the firm which is also a global investment trust.
Shares in the UK mid-cap hit 250p Tuesday, 20% higher than they were a month ago, nearly 40% better over two months and the best they've been since October last year.

At the end of March, the investment trust had most of its money in the UK (70.4%) and just under 14% in Europe.
