Victrex sees record sales in second quarter
Victrex, the Lancashire-based maker of polymers, says sales during the first half of its financial year were down on 2011 although the second quarter showed significant acceleration.
Victrex, the Lancashire-based maker of polymers, says sales during the first half of its financial year were down on 2011 although the second quarter showed significant acceleration.
Total sales volume, in the six months to the end of March, was 1,377 tonnes versus 1,434 tonnes at the same point in the previous year. The second quarter however saw the firm shift 795 tonnes, a company record.
Victrex says "the current order book for April and new business activity continue to be encouraging."
