Tesco's UK boss falls on his sword
Richard Brasher, the head of Tesco's UK operations, is to quit the board to avoid stepping on the toes of group Chief Executive Officer, Philip Clarke, who is taking a much greater interest in the UK business since the supermarket group's recent profit warning.
Richard Brasher, the head of Tesco's UK operations, is to quit the board to avoid stepping on the toes of group Chief Executive Officer, Philip Clarke, who is taking a much greater interest in the UK business since the supermarket group's recent profit warning.
Brasher will leave the company in July once he has effected a smooth transition of the UK business to Clarke.
