SuperGroup, the fast growing owner of the Superdry brand, is to change its finance director and create a new role of chief operating officer.

Susanne Given, the new Chief Operating Officer, has been poached from the John Lewis Partnership, where she was Director of Fashion and Beauty.
Given's prime focus will be operational improvements and driving efficiencies in the UK retail business, the firm said.

She will also oversee central support functions including marketing, logistics, sourcing, IT and property.
"Susanne's appointment will allow [Chief Executive] Julian Dunkerton the space and time to focus on the development of the Superdry brand and our product," said chairman Peter Bamford.
Shaun Wills, who replaces Chas Howes as Finance Director, joins SuperGroup from Habitat where he was Chief Operating Officer.
Both new recruits will join the board in April.
