San Leon Energy, the AIM-listed oil and gas explorer, has begun drilling on the Czaslaw SL-1 well on the Nowa Sol concession in the Southern Permian Basin, Southwest Poland.
The Czaslaw SL-1 is the second exploration well on this concession and is focused on the Main Dolomite trend. The first well, the Lelchow SL-1, confirmed an oil find on the Nowa Sol Concession which is currently undergoing further testing.
Executive Chairman, Oisin Fanning said: "Following the success of the Lelchow SL-1 we have continued with our exciting exploration programme in the Southern Permian Basin with the spud of our second well, Czaslaw. We believe this is a highly prospective area and look forward to providing further updates on both wells in the near future."
