Digital sports media business PERFORM has announced that it is now integrating its sports content across a range of Google platforms.
Digital sports media business PERFORM has announced that it is now integrating its sports content across a range of Google platforms.
The development of YouTube channels for its LIVESPORT.tv and Goal.com brands "will see thousands of hours of live, highlights and sports news video content made available to millions of sports fans globally," the company said. Content will be funded by advertising and some events will be available in the US as a paid live stream.
Meanwhile, to accompany the launch of the YouTube channels, PERFORM has also launched a range of 20 applications for Googl'es Chrome Web Store for clients including Chelsea, Newcastle, the WTA and TennisTV.

"PERFORM is the leading provider of multi-platform sports content and we are delighted to extend the reach of our content across the YouTube and Google Chrome platforms. The LIVESPORT.tv and Goal.com channels will allow fans of all sports to watch what they want, when they want it," said joint-Chief Executive Officer Simon Denyer.
"We are delighted to work with such an influential partner and look forward to working even more closely with Google and YouTube in the future," he said.
Shares were up 0.56% at 275.93p in the opening minutes on Friday.
