Network Rail gigs for Balfour and Atkins
Balfour Beatty, the international infrastructure group, said its 50/50 joint venture with Alstom, has been successful in the tendering process for the new signalling frameworks on behalf of Network Rail.
Balfour Beatty, the international infrastructure group, said its 50/50 joint venture with Alstom, has been successful in the tendering process for the new signalling frameworks on behalf of Network Rail.
The joint venture, Signalling Solutions Limited, has secured involvement in seven of the eight geographical regions covered by Network Rail's seven-year "New Signalling Frameworks", worth a total £1.5bn.
Contracting firm WS Atkins also got in on the act, having been announced as the preferred supplier for two of Network Rail's signalling renewal framework contracts.
