Lo-Q makes a splash in US

Lo-Q, the AIM-listed provider of virtual queuing systems for theme parks and major attractions, has signed a three year agreement with Palace Entertainment, the largest operator of water parks in the US.

Lo-Q, the AIM-listed provider of virtual queuing systems for theme parks and major attractions, has signed a three year agreement with Palace Entertainment, the largest operator of water parks in the US.

Under the agreement, Q-band, Lo-Q's waterproof virtual queuing wristband will be used at Splish Splash, Palace Entertainment's water park in Long Island, New York.

The Q-band is designed to allow park visitors to avoid waiting in long queues by reserving a place in the queue virtually, and entering the queue at a separate kiosk further down the line.

Announcing the trial, Tom Burnet, Chief Executive Officer of Lo-Q plc said:

"This contract highlights the strength of Lo-Q's ground-breaking water park product and the increasing interest in our solutions from all corners of the entertainment sector."

The share price rose 5.88% to 216p by 08:24.
