Aberdeen Asset Management announced Wednesday that it has completed the acquisition of Artio Global Investors, a US publicly listed asset manager.
The group paid $179.7m (£118.3m) for the acquisition, which is expected to be earnings enhancing from the outset.
The share price rose 0.12% to 482.90p by 08:30.
