Berendsen, the textile cleaning and rental firm, has announced a new chairman for when the incumbent retires in April.
Berendsen, the textile cleaning and rental firm, has announced a new chairman for when the incumbent retires in April.
The firm has picked Iain Ferguson, currently senior independent non-executive director of the company, as non-executive chairman.
He will replace Christopher Kemball when he leaves the firm after its annual general meeting on 26 April 2012.

Ferguson was appointed to the board in March 2010, having been chief executive of Tate and Lyle from 2003 to 2009.
He has also worked for Unilever and is a non-executive director of Balfour Beatty and Greggs.
"We believe he has the right skills and experience to be a worthy successor to Christopher and we all look forward to working with him," said Peter Ventress, Berendsen's chief executive.
