Cobham wins Lockheed Martin contract
Thrane and Thrane, the Danish satellite communications company recently acquired by UK defence firm Cobham, has been awarded a contract by US aeronautics firm Lockheed Martin for a satellite communication component.
Thrane and Thrane, the Danish satellite communications company recently acquired by UK defence firm Cobham, has been awarded a contract by US aeronautics firm Lockheed Martin for a satellite communication component.
The deal is expected to be worth more than DKr150m (£15.9m) and will see Thrane & Thrane's Aviator 700D product used on a fleet of some 200 US Air Force C-130J Super Hercules military transport aircraft which are being upgraded.
