Money Minute Friday 22 November: the state of the eurozone, and the leaders on Question Time

This morning we get the latest PMI Composite survey for the whole of the eurozone, plus the main parties' leaders slug it out on the BBC's Question Time.

This morning we get the latest PMI Composite survey for the whole of the eurozone.What does that mean?

As the name might suggest, the composite PMI takes the other surveys on manufacturing sector activity and services sector activity and combines them, to give an overall view of the current state of the economy.

The figure is likely to remain above 50, reflecting overall growth.However, it has declined sharply in the last few months, as the manufacturing sector continues to contract, and services activity weakens.

And over in the UK, if this week's televised debate between Jeremy Corbyn and Boris Johnson has left you hungry to watch more party leaders being jeered at by hand-picked members of the public, then you might want to tune in to the BBC's Question Time special this evening.

Johnson and Corbyn will be back, but this time appearing alongside SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon, and Lib Dem leader Jo Swinson.
