The wine was this 2014 Reguengo de Melgao Alvarinho, from the top class Vinho Verde sub-region of Mono. It is a wondrous wine. It is also world class and affordable! It is, however, only sold by one merchant in this country, so act fast. Don't say that I don't put in the hard yards for my MoneyWeek readers!
