Tradefair is part of the Betfair Group. Launched in 2007, Tradefair’s spread betting platform is powered by the London Capital Group (LCG) and today it boasts one of the biggest UK-based online financial spread betting platforms, with over 2,000 markets to trade on, including; shares, indices, commodities and currencies.

Tradefair is funded by and is part of Betfair, the world's largest internet betting exchange. The Tradefair Spreads platform allows betters to speculate on the movement of stocks and shares through the 'buying' and 'selling' of derivatives. This can be compared to the manner in which a better can choose to 'bet' or lay a horse in a race on the Betfair sports exchange.
Type of spread offered
With Tradefair you’ll be able to spread bet on over 2,000 markets, including; indices such as the FTSE 100, commodities, forex, bonds and interest rates.
Equities:
Tradefair offers you the chance to trade on a host of shares, including the FTSE 100, FTSE 250, UK small cap and AIM, S&P 500, NASDAQ 100, French and Dutch large caps, German Large and mid caps, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Irish ISEQ, South African and Indian.

The range of indices available to Tradefair traders includes:
FTSE 100, FTSE 250, Wall St (Dow Jones), DAX, S&P, NASDAQ, Russ 2k, Eurostoxx, Nikkei 225, CAC 40, AEX, Sweden 30, as well as indices in Ireland, Australia and Hong Kong.
Currencies:
The list of currencies you can bet on at Tradefair includes the US dollar (USD), Japanese yen (JPY), euro (EUR), pound (GBP), Swiss franc (CHF), Australian dollar (AUD), Canadian dollar (CAD), New Zealand dollar (NZD), Norwegian krone (NOK), South African rand (ZAR), Singapore dollar (SGD), Polish zloty (PLN), Swedish krona (SEK).
Commodities:
Brent crude oil, US crude oil, carbon emissions, natural gas, gold, silver and copper
Interest rates:
Euribor, Eurodollar, Euroswiss and Short Sterling futures.
Bonds:
Lastly, Tradefair account holders can trade future contracts on BOBL, Bund, Gilt, Schatz as well as US ten-year and US thirty-year bonds.
