Pan African non-exec opens account

A round-up of the biggest director buys today so far.

Simon Malone, a non executive director at Pan African Resources, has become a shareholder in the gold producer and explorer after spending the equivalent of about £77,000 on shares.

Malone, who is chairman of the company's technical committee, bought around 1.289m shares at 87 South African cents (5.5p) a time, having previously had none.
