Anglo American chairman adds to stake
A round-up of the biggest director deals today so far.
Non-executive chairman Sir John Parker has added to his stake in miner Anglo American a few weeks after he reinvested his quarterly director fee in new shares.
Sir John bought 1,726 shares at £28.75, which took his stake to 9,775 shares. The total cost was nearly £50,000. At the beginning of April, Sir John acquired 867 shares at £27.6535 each by reinvesting nearly £24,000 of his director fee.
This reinvestment is a regular thing since Sir John's appointment as chairman in August 2009. He invested nearly £16,000 in September 2009 and nearly £24,000 at the beginning of 2010.
