Last week, Experian said that there were improving trends across all regions in the first half of its financial year.
Revenue from continuing activities in the six months to September 2010 was up 8% at constant exchange rates, while organic revenue growth was 7%. Similar growth rates are expected for the year as a whole and Experian hopes to edge up its operating margin.
Total group revenue improved to $2bn from $1.9bn the year before. Profit before tax fell to $283m from $316m, while earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) rose 10% to $484m.
The interim dividend has been hiked 29% to $0.09 a share. The shares go ex-dividend on 29 December and the payment date is 28 January so Sprieser will receive a dividend of $1,223 (£776).
