Ted Baker finance boss trousers £2m

Ted Baker's finance boss Lindsay Page has slashed his holding in the fashion retailer, pocketing £2m in the process.He offloaded 250,000 shares at 800p a pop, but still has nearly 44,000, or about 0.1% of the company.Ted Baker has been doing well despite the tough economic climate; the shares have climbed by more than 50% over the past year.Last month, the company announced a 15.2% increase in revenue for the 19 weeks between 30 January and 11 June. Retail sales were up 9.4% on the same period last year and the company managed to increase its total shop floor space by 4.4%. The firm has also opened new stores in Manchester, Paris and Hong Kong and concessions at department stores in the US, Spain and Portugal.
