Royal Bank of Scotland Director buys 300,000 shares
A round-up of the biggest director buys today so far.
Royal Bank of Scotland Director Tony Di Iorio has today bought a total of 300,000 shares in the bank for a total sum of £2,032,560.
On November 4th the bank announced that it had made a profit before tax of £2,004m in the third quarter of 2011, compared to a £1,560m loss at the same point in 2010.
Nomura said that there were "no negative surprises" and the figures came broadly in line with its forecasts. "The strengthening of the balance sheet has continued. Against the currently volatile operating environment this may prompt some positive relief," the broker said.
