SSE director sells 1,000 shares
A round-up of the biggest director deals today so far.
Jim McPhillimy, the Managing Director of Group Services at energy firm SSE, has sold off 1,000 shares in the firm for 1,289.00p each.
The sale comes three weeks after the company said it was on course to deliver an increase in the dividend per share and an increase in pre-tax profits for the financial year to March 31st 2012.
This came despite its nine month update showing the number of electricity and gas customer accounts it has in Britain and Ireland fell by 50,000 to 9.60m.

Their consumption also fell with SSE's British household customers using 8.3% less electricity and 26.6% less gas.
Its figures show that an average household customer paid £710 for electricity and gas in the nine months to 31 December 2011, compared with £760 in the nine months to the end of 2010.
Shares have gained 3.36% in the last month, equivalent to 42.00p.
McPhillmy joined SSE in 1995 and is responsible for the group's corporate services including safety, human resources and procurement.
