Small caps round-up: Brainspark, Sky High, Plexus
Sky High, a data collection and analysis group, has been awarded a three year framework agreement by Transport Scotland. The agreement, for an undisclosed sum, is for the collection and collation of a range of transport and land use data. Sky High has partnered IBI Group for the contract, although Sky High is the lead partner and it is expected that 80% of services will be delivered by Sky High-Count On Us, the traffic survey division of the firm.

Investment company Brainspark has paid €0.69m for a 10% stake in Sixlove Group, an Italian hotel management firm. Brainspark has also announced that one of its investments, Bibop, has launched a new product called 'virtual relationship', a video interaction software solution which will be used to provide business to business video communiation services to the retail market. In addition, ORH, a 51%-owned Brainspark investment, has signed an agreement to gain the exclusive management of the brand and activities of Un Altro Sole, a Milan based travel operator. With this acquisition ORH expects to report total revenues in 2012 of over 60m euro.
Plexus Holdings, an oil and gas engineering services business, has recieved an order from BG Group subsidiary BG International for its POS-GRIP friction-grip method of wellhead engineering for gas exploration drilling operations in the North Sea. The £1.3m revenues for the order are expected to begin in November 2012. The order follows on from a five year framework agreement signed between the two companies in 2006.
