Rolls-Royce wins engine contract with US Army
Power systems group Rolls-Royce has won a contract to service M250 engines for the US Army's OH-58D Kiowa Warrior scout helicopters.
Power systems group Rolls-Royce has won a contract to service M250 engines for the US Army's OH-58D Kiowa Warrior scout helicopters.
The contract, valued at $183m, involves the service of 500 M250 engines for more than 300 aircraft. It begins this month and the Army has the option to extend it for four additional years.

their mission." The company has MissionCare contract with all branches of the US military, including the Air Force, Navy, Marines, Army and Coast Guard.
"Rolls-Royce is focused on providing affordable, dependable support to help our military customers complete their missions every day," said Dan Korte, the President of the company's Defence division.
"For years, we have been working hard to ensure these Army crews come home safely after every mission, and we are committed to providing our full support so that continues."
